TERMS & CONDITIONS

(I) MEMBERSHIP

  1. Applications are open to all residents of Malaysia and Singapore aged 18 years and above.
  2. The AEON MEMBER Card is not a credit card or charge card.
  3. The employees of AEON CO. (M) BHD. are not eligible to apply and use the AEON MEMBER Card.
  4. ThepromotersarenotallowedtousetheirAEONMEMBERCardduringworking hours and strictly not on customer purchases.
  5. The AEON MEMBER Card application is renewable at the annual membership fee of RM12 inclusive of Goods and Services Tax („GST‟).
  6. AEON MEMBER Cardholders may choose to renew their membership for 3 years at the price of 2 years renewal fee, of which amounting to RM24 inclusive of Goods and Services Tax („GST‟). In this event, AEON MEMBER Points cannot be used to redeem this renewal. In the event that the AEON MEMBER Card has since expired for more than a year, the same shall not be entitled to this renewal offer.
  7. In the event the membership expires, AEON MEMBERS shall have the option to either apply for a new AEON MEMBER Card or renew the membership at any AEON MEMBER Counter. In the case of application for a new AEON MEMBER Card, all the points and rebates accumulated from the expired card shall not be carried forward to the new AEON MEMBER Card and the points and rebates shall be null and void.
  8. In the event the membership is renewed, the date of renewal will commence on the day after expiry date and upon renewal, the membership shall be entitled to all the points and rebates accumulated previously.
  9. Free sign-up/ renewal points of 100 AEON MEMBER Points shall subject to the following conditions:

  11. The supplementary membership will expire together with the principal card‟s expiry regardless of the application date for the supplementary card.
  12. The members must present the valid AEON MEMBER Card to the cashier before any transaction to ensure that the spending amount is recorded and accumulated. Failure to do so, the amounts spent will not be taken into account for rebates or points accumulation.
  13. All correspondences and promotional information shall be forwarded to the Principal AEON MEMBER Cardholders only.
  14. If an AEON MEMBER Card is stolen, lost or damaged, a fee of RM5.00 (excluding any payable statutory tax) will be charged for each replacement card.
  15. The AEON MEMBER Card is not transferable and is for the exclusive use of the AEON MEMBER only.
  16. AEON. CO (M) BHD. reserves the right to use and utilise the database information for marketing purposes.
  17. AEON. CO (M) BHD. reserves the right to decline the issuance or withdrawal of the AEON MEMBER Card at any time or terminate membership as and when necessary without any prior notice.
  18. AEON CO. (M) BHD. reserves the right to suspend or terminate this programme at any time as it deems necessary. In such a case, AEON CO. (M) BHD. shall give advance notice to all members in the manner AEON CO. (M) BHD. deems appropriate.
  19. AEON CO. (M) BHD. reserves the right to omit, add or amend the AEON MEMBER Card Loyalty Programme Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any new or amended Terms and Conditions will override the existing AEON MEMBER Card Loyalty Programme Terms and Conditions.

(II) REBATE COLLECTION PROGRAMME

  1. Rebates will be issued upon minimum spending of RM500 at AEON General Merchandising Stores (“GMS”) over a period of 6 months.
  2. The eligible members will be notified through SMS. AEON CO. (M) BHD. will not bear any responsibility for messaging (SMS) failure or late arrival. Principal AEON MEMBER Cardholders shall check total AEON MEMBER points or rebates at any AEON MEMBER Counter or website if they have not received any SMS notification during the stated period.
  3. The Rebate amount entitlement in the AEON MEMBER System is final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
  4. The following items are not included in the rebate calculation:
  5. Only Principal AEON MEMBER Cardholders with a valid/non-expired AEON MEMBER Card are eligible for the rebate redemption.
  6. Principal AEON MEMBER Cardholders are required to produce their AEON MEMBER Card, I.C. or passport in order to redeem the AEON Gift Vouchers.
  7. Photocopy of I.C./ passport is required for the official use of redemption purposes of the rebate.
  8. AEON CO. (M) BHD. reserves the right to refuse any voucher redemption for any reason or if it is suspected that the rebates were fraudulently accumulated by the AEON MEMBER or wrongly recorded.

(III) POINTS COLLECTION PROGRAMME

  1. 1. Every Ringgit spent (excluding any payable statutory tax) in AEON Stores, AEON Wellness or Pasar Raya MaxValu shall be converted to 1 point.
  2. 2. Points expiry date: 3 years from the year points have been accumulated.
  3. E.g. Points for purchases made in year 2013 will expire on 31 December 2016.
  4. 3. The following items are not included in the points‟ calculation:
  5. The points collection entitlement in the AEON MEMBER System is final and no further correspondence will be entertained
  6. AEON Points accumulated are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other items except in those stated in the AEON Redemption Programme.
  7. AEON Points accumulated are non-transferable, assignable and/ or not for sale to any other persons.
  8. Only valid Principal AEON MEMBER Cardholders holding a valid/ non-expired AEON MEMBER Card with sufficient points are eligible for the gift redemption.
  9. Principal AEON MEMBER Cardholders are required to produce their AEON MEMBER Card and I.C. or passport for the redemption of gifts.
  10. Upon AEON CO. (M) BHD. acceptance of the redemption order, AEON MEMBERS shall not revoke, cancel, return or exchange the gift redemption item(s).
  11. AEON MEMBER can log on to the website www.aeonretail.com.my or visit any AEON MEMBER counter to check their points.
  12. AEON CO. (M) BHD. reserves the right to refuse any redemption of the redeemed item if AEON CO. (M) BHD. has any reason to suspect the points were fraudulently accumulated by the member or wrongly recorded.
  13. AEON CO. (M) BHD. reserves the right to adjust the points tiers or requirements, as well as substitute or replace items with items of similar or equivalent value without prior notice.
