A new lifestyle destination mall for Kota Bharu community

Kota Bharu, 28 May 2016 - "Making everyday life an enjoyment" is AEON Mall Kota Bharu's promise as it officially opens its doors to the local community. The first AEON Mall in the East Coast, it seeks to enhance the region with its exciting mix of retail, dining and experiential shopping options.

During a launch event held today, Guest of Honour, the Deputy Chief Minister of Kelantan Yang Berhormat Dato' Mohd Amar Bin Abdullah was present to officiate the opening of the mall. He was joined by the Chairman of AEON CO. (M) BHD., YBhg. Dato' Abdullah Mohd Yusof; Managing Director of AEON ASIA SDN. BHD., Mr. Washizawa Shinobu, and the Managing Director of AEON CO. (M) BHD., Pn. Nur Qamarina Chew.

Located a mere five-minute drive away from Kota Bharu town, the new mall stands in a built-up area of over 1.3 million square feet. It features more than 130 tenants, some of which include the AEON Supermarket and Department Store; a home living anchor store Index Living Mall that contains of multitude home decorative items and furniture which is the third store in Malaysia; local and international fashion brands such as H&M; as well as food outlets that cater to every tastebud-Nando's, PappaRich and Coffee Bean to name a few.

Taking the visitors' convenience into consideration, AEON Mall Kota Bharu offers 2,400 parking bays, the Musalla surau provides customers the facilities of clean color coded telekung changed daily, for hygiene and convenience purpose of customers.

Baby Room for mother's conveniences are located on every level and children will never miss the opportunity to be entertained by various rides and games at Kidzooona. Free Wi-Fi will also be available to all TM users. Additionally, AEON Mall Kota Bharu boasts a series of 'firsts' as the first mall in the area to house a public library and a Kids Washroom catering to children only. Sports enthusiasts, too, will be glad to know that the establishment comes equipped with an indoor sport arena that yet to open.
